Yo, yo, minna-san. ![]()
I hadn’t planned to post so soon, but it’s really necessary, because today Ravissant Hosting went through its very first medium-long downtime….ok, it’s not something to brag about, but the quickness it went out of it is.
As you all probably already know, Ravissant.org is proudly hosted on SurpassHosting; today, the company had scheduled an Integration of Additional USP Power – for they’ve enlarged their main Data-Center in Orlando – who could cause a loss of power and an automatic system’s reboot; they tried but couldn’t prevent it and my website, along with many others, has been down for 5 hours.
I only remembered this event only when I went to check my WordPress comments and couldn’t see neither the domain nor my hostees; I’ve kept in contact with SurpassHosting support throughout all the issue’s time-length and I must say: some hosts can only dream of such a support. ♥ My ticket replies were answered within minutes and a support person promised to keep me constantly informed about the proceeding of server’s functionality…but the site was back before he could actually do it. :p Absolutely astounding. ![]()
Should you need a reliable, not-too-expensive hosting service I do absolutely recommend SurpassHosting (this was the first problem ever in 7 months of being hosted with them); only HostGator can compare.
Gotta go, now, ‘cuz I’m currently working to add some PNGs to Hakanai, and I’ve barely started; see you next time, everybody, and take care. <3
Welcome, guys, to the improved Ravissant. =D
After a long debate and quite a hard work, Ravissant Hosting is finally, proudly powered by WordPress. I’m so very happy I could pull this off. ^___^
So, we can consider Ravissant to be on its version 1.0; since I can’t make a WordPress Theme (my only trial wasn’t even good enough for beginners), I had to use a premade theme by my host at Rakuyō Icons, the awesome Isi. Since I don’t know what else to say about Ravissant, I’ll rant a bit.
Lately, my main anime obsession is Katekyo Hitman Reborn; I’ve watched 18 episodes so far, but it’s been more than enough to develop a powerfully insane crush over Mr. Kyoya-biting-the-herbivores-to-death-Hibari; I’ve always had a thing for the silent, brooding character types in all the anime series I watch (Heeryo Yui in Gundam Wind; Valgarv in Slayers III; Itachi Uchiha in Naruto, and so on), they have something that calls to my inner female saying I’m sad, I need rest and comfort for my tormented soul to which she responds I’m here, I’m yours, take me….-.- That’s a bit sad.
This sort-of imprinting what happened quite strongly with Hibari, and, since this obsession is tied to the existance of yaoi couple, I’ve already started reading every possible fan fiction of the couple Dino Cavallone/Kyoya Hibari over at FanFiction.Net; I plan to read all the fictions on the 12 pages the site dedicates to the couple – I’m up to page 8, now.
I’m exactly going to read some more fics on FF.Net, now, because I’m tired of typing and I really don’t have anything more to add on this post. See you next time and take care. ♥
